MS Word Comment/Track Changes Author Changer

This web app will allow you to modify the authors of comments and track changes in a Microsoft Word DOCX file. Note: Everything is done on your computer and nothing is uploaded online. You can use this offline as well!

Step 1. Select your DOCX file from your computer.

Step 2. Click to see a table with all the current authors in the Microsoft Word file. You can rename the authors in the empty text fields. If the fields are left blank, no changes to the author will be made. Authors with the same name and initials will be consolidated into one person.

Step 3. Download your new file with the correct authors!
